History

Verde Electric Corporation was formed in 1993 for the purpose of performing electrical contracting in the New York Metropolitan Area, Westchester, Orange, Rockland and Putnam counties.  The company has been awarded single contracts in excess of  $ 25 million and aggregate contracts in excess of $ 500 million.

Verde Electrical Corp. is an Electrical Contracting firm whose personnel are proud of its 30 years of experience in all aspects of the Electrical Construction Industry.

Verde Electric Corp. currently employs over 100 individuals and maintains union affiliations with International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 3, I.B.E.W. Local 1249,I.B.E.W Local 363, International Union of Operating Engineers local 137 and Local 825, International Brotherhood of Teamsters local 456, I.B.E.W. Local 164, and Westchester Putnam Counties Heavy & Highway Laborers local 60.

Work is performed both as prime contractor and sub-contractor to a vast number of clients including:

  • Port Authority of New York & New Jersey
  • New York City Transit Authority
  • New York State Dept. of Transportation
  • Office of General Services of the State of New York

What We Offer

We can effectively provide cost analysis on a lump sum basis for a specific scope of work, or provide feasibility and/or design-build services to suit project requirements.

Verde has design build experience in transportation systems i.e. railroad stations, railroad interlocks, site infrastructures including high voltage substations, distributions, 600V building power, communication security systems and equipment.

Services provided include: Installation of electric power, maintenance of traffic signals and street lighting. Installation of traffic signal and street lighting.  Interior electric and communication and homeland security.
