Intelligent Traffic Systems (ITS)
Verde Electric is proud to be a part of revolutionizing NY’s roadways with the installation of ITS systems on many of the Hudson Valley’s major highways. Streamlining the way we travel, by installing traffic volume monitors, variable message signs, Video vehicle detection, and fiber optic cable systems beaming information to the NYSDOT’s high tech Traffic Management Center. Some of these projects include the rehabilitations of I-87, I-287 and I-684.

Traffic Signal & Street Light Maintenance
Verde Electric staffs a full service Traffic signal and street lighting maintenance crew. Our highly skilled emergency response maintenance team monitors and services a majority of The Hudson Valley’s signal system. Our Maintenance staff provides coverage 24/7, 365 days per year for emergency response to signal malfunctions, storm or vehicle damage, etc. These crews also re lamp existing signals with highly efficient LED light modules and test each traffic signal controller, during the yearly preventive maintenance cycle.
